The Acturis/BB&D partnership has already proven its ability to deliver high quality, on schedule developments to a tight timetable. Over the past 2 years Acturis and BB&D worked together on the design, development and implementation of the Acturis Insurance Platform, a revolutionary new IT platform for commercial insurance. This Platform is now used by Major Banks (such as HBOS), major insurers (such as Axa, Fortis and Allianz) and numerous brokers.

Phase 1 was a 60 man-year project which was delivered, on time, to a high quality in 12 months at 50% of the cost of a UK build. Alternative bids for Indian offshore development were 25% more expensive and would have taken 50% longer.
