Fully Integrated and Market Leading Broking System

The system has been designed for brokers who recognise change is necessary in the market and are determined to win in a new environment. The functionality offered is unsurpassed, using market leading tools and applications.

All modules of the system are completely integrated, minimising the duplication and re-keying - so much a part of today's broker processes - and providing the broker with a single, integrated view of its business. For example:

     -

Integration between broker and insurer systems to eliminate re-keying and vastly improve customer service.

     -   Full integration of request for quote, policy acceptance and client invoicing into one seamless new business process.
     -   Full integration between initial new business and subsequent processes such as MTAs/renewals and cancellations, supporting multiple versions of policies and avoiding re-keying.
     -   Full integration between all modules and reporting allowing instant and automatic access to information.

     -   Full integration between accounting and broking, allowing automatic client invoicing and payment plan facilities across multiple products.
     -   Full integration across all tasks in the system allowing supervisors and managers to view work queues and reassign tasks, optimising productivity.

The key elements of the platform are as follows:

Contact Management

The system allows brokers to manage relationships with multiple contacts at a third party company, be it a client, a loss adjuster, a sub-agent or introducer, or perhaps even a third party service provider or insurer.

Personal details, such as contact address, e-mail address, phone numbers and personal information such as their interests can be collected and accessed instantly.

Policy Administration

Most systems on the market capture commercial risk information in a free text format. This is sufficient to view risk details on an individual client basis, but it does not allow reporting risk information, nor will it allow connectivity with insurers.

Acturis uses structured risk capture on all sum insured and cover fields and each of these fields will be linked to broker-specific templates so that client schedules, registers and insurer quotation requests are automatically pre-filled with the correct details.

Drop-down field are used to ensure consistency of data input, a fact vita in developing connectivity with insurers, these lists are based on Polaris/ABI lists when available. Free format fields are also included to capture additional information over and above the normal level of risk detail.

Report Centre

The Acturis Broker Platform uses MicroStrategy reporting functionality in its Report Centre, powerful reporting sofware used by major financial services corporations such as AXA and Nationwide.

The reporting tool is fully integrated into the system so regular periodic reports, one-off internal reports and reports for insurers and clients can be run instantly. Results can also be exported to Excel to allow further manipulation if required.

Reports such as insurer service performance in policy issue and claims settlement, insurer loss ratio analysis, broker profitability and revenue performance across self-defined segments of business, and broker cross and up-sell campaign reports will all become pivotal in running a broker's business.

Task Manager

Task Management within the Acturis Broker Platform is designed specifically to cater for the requirements of insurance brokers, and is configurable to allow each broker to design their own unique processes into the system.

Not only can handlers add their own reminders and use the system as an activity diary, the system will also add prompts to ensure that the broker's service charter is managed actively and compliance measures are not ignored. For example, when notifying a claim to an insurer, the system requires the handler to input a diary date in the system to chase up the insurer, or when a policy is accepted then a task can be created to prompt the handler to send an invoice and policy documentation to the client.

The link between task management and management reporting also ensures that directors and supervisors are aware of work-states, service levels and compliance issues at a business level and can reallocate work and resources instantly to keep the business running smoothly.
