Acturis builds and operates the product either on a Polaris engine or on its own sophisticated Product Builder. Distributors can obtain instant electronic quotes and can generate point of sale documents. New business, renewals, mid term adjustments, cancellation and reinstatement processes are all supported

• XML Integration. Acturis and the insurer define the processes and data exchange standards for the exchange of data between the Acturis Platform and the insurer. The broker submits requests for quote to the insurer on-line on the Acturis Platform and responses from the insurer are populated directly into the Acturis Platform.

• Acturis Insurer Screens. Acturis can provide a set of underwriter screens which enable insurers to view and respond to data sent to them by brokers using the Acturis Platform, creating a comprehensive and efficient underwriting process. The Acturis Insurer Screens can be delivered in multiple formats including interactive e-mail and dynamic HTML screens.

• Product Development. Acturis works in partnership with the insurer/ broker/client to design and develop an insurance product including rating rules, question sets, look and feel and potentially sourcing of underwriting capacity.
