HBOS selects Acturis to provide commercial insurance broking solution

HBOS today announced that, following a full competitive tender process, Acturis has been selected to provide a full commercial lines broking solution for its insurance division.

Acturis specialises in developing leading edge commercial lines insurance software for insurance brokers.

The combination of Halifax and Bank of Scotland as HBOS has created a major and distinctive commercial insurance broker in the UK. with significant growth potential and ambition.

Jerry White, Head of Commercial Insurance at HBOS said: "We have very aggressive expansion plans and see Acturis as providing the right solution for the broker of the future. The Acturis System also provides a step change in functionality and very powerful management information tools in particular. These will enable us to understand our business better and run it more profitably".
