The deal will affect Acturis' 700 broker users in over 35 locations who preside over £350m premium.

Acturis, which predicts its user and broker numbers will almost double over the next three months, said it needed a new personal lines partner in order to take the business forward and provide greater market coverage for its rapidly growing client base.

Theo Duchen, co-chief executive of Acturis, said: "We simply must deliver the widest choice of personal lines cover and competitive premiums. Brokersure.co.uk allows us to achieve this seamlessly."

Acturis said it also selected Brokersure.co.uk as a cost effective way of transacting business in tune with the Financial Services Authority. The system has a common policy wording, designed to aid compliance with regulatory requirements with products available via full cycle EDI.

The deal represents a massive boost for Brokersure.co.uk who's business has traditionally come direct from brokers.
