Towergate goes live on Acturis in SME push

Small to medium-sized enterprise specialist Towergate Riskline has gone live on Acturis after selecting it as its commercial trading platform last year.
It follows the migration of data from the incumbent systems; the build up of a suite of auto-rated SME products using Imarket standards and Polaris technology; and the creation of a new brokerage entity on the Acturis platform.
Towergate Riskline managing director Nigel Palmer said: "The Acturis platform sets us up well for rapid expansion in the commercial lines SME space."
Acturis chief executive Theo Duchen added: "Towergate Riskline is a leading SME broker and this launch reflects our aim to be the top commercial broking platform in the UK."
