Acturis and BT slash the cost of connectivity for Brokers

It has been announced today that Acturis, a BT reseller, are to dramatically reduce the cost of connectivity into the Acturis ASP. Using a non-contended and therefore totally private aDSL line, brokers can now connect into Acturis at a fraction of the previous cost.

Acturis’ Head of IT, Chris Goddard, comments, “A private, non-contended 256k aDSL line, suitable for a 20 user site, now costs as little as £2100. This represents a 65% reduction on the cost of an equivalent connection using the premium BT NetEquip service. This new connectivity solution complements rather than replaces our existing connectivity solutions and offers a selection of connection types and speeds to suit brokers of all sizes.”

Simon Ronaldson, Sales and Marketing manager of Acturis, added “The new BT service means that we can offer brokers all the productivity, efficiency and compliance benefits of the Acturis Broker Platform at an even more competitive price.”

BT Account Director Tom O’Hagan added, “Acturis is an innovative and growing reseller of BT’s and we are delighted to announce this advancement in conjunction with them. Our goal is to open up the world of connectivity to an increased number of companies and this move forward allows insurance brokers of any size to enjoy the vast benefits of connectivity.”
