The Broker Network selects Acturis

Following a comprehensive system evaluation process, The Broker Network has decided to trial the Acturis Broker Platform. A number of Broker Network brokers were involved in the selection process and as a result the Acturis Broker Platform will go fully live at 5 sites over the next 2 months. The first broker, Hine Insurance Brokers of Didsbury went live on the 8th November, with 2 more brokers due to go live (Northern Counties of Gateshead and London Broking Services) on the 1st December. Two further brokers follow in January. A successful pilot will result in a much wider adoption of the system across its 120+ broker sites.

Simon Ronaldson, Sales & Marketing Manager at Acturis, comments, "This was one of the toughest evaluation processes we have been through and we are delighted by the outcome. We are already working with The Broker Network and a number of its member brokers to ensure that the pilot is a success for all parties concerned. This is a giant step forward for Acturis."

Michael Collins, Chief Operating Officer at The Broker Network Ltd, comments, "We undertook a democratic process involving a number of our member brokers, and Acturis was a clear winner in the evaluation process. We will be looking at the pilot sites progress with considerable interest."

Paul Hine, Managing Director of Hine Insurance Brokers is impressed with the initial results. "We have been aware that our IT system required changing for some time and as a result we were part of the system evaluation process. I can already see how Acturis will add value to our business, both in terms of the quality and efficiency of our service provision and in terms of FSA compliance."

Notes:
The Broker Network Ltd is the largest UK network of brokers, with 120 member brokers controlling £250m premium income.
