FMW opts for Acturis

FMW Risk Services Ltd has announced that it is moving to the Acturis Broker Platform in December 2004. FMW has a team of 56 staff based in Chelmsford and from 20th December 2004 its entire team will be using Acturis.

Managing Director, Peter Blanc at FMW, comments, "We were looking for a system that would take us successfully into the post-FSA world of 2005 and beyond. After much evaluation we have decided to move to Acturis. The Acturis Broker Platform has offered us a mix of richness of commercial lines functionality and also ease of implementation to minimise disruption. We are looking forward to 2005 with great expectation and enthusiasm."

FMW Deputy Managing Director, David Anderson, adds, "It was a very tough selection process, but the correct decision has undoubtedly been made. Acturis was able to meet all of our key requirements, and visits to and dialogue with Acturis users confirmed to us that Acturis was capable of delivering its promises. We are also very excited about how Acturis can help us in an FSA regulated environment and feel that we are now far better prepared for the FSA as a result of moving to Acturis."
