Oval acquisition goes live onto Acturis

Williams & Williams, the leading Leicester broking group employing 40 people which was recently acquired by the Oval Group, has gone live onto the Acturis Broker Platform with effect from the 9th January 2006.

This acquisition will take the number of Oval members of staff using Acturis to above 200 for the first time.

Jim Duffy, Group Operations Director at Oval commented, “We have an excellent working relationship with Acturis, and the Williams & Williams deal has a natural fit with Acturis, given the existing Acturis user base already in situ and in our Leicester office.”

David McDonald, co-CEO at Acturis, adds, “Oval is one of our longest standing and most valued customers, and we are delighted that our relationship is being strengthened in this way. We will be working very hard with Oval to ensure that the maximum possible value is achieved through the effective use of Acturis.”

The Williams & Williams acquisition takes the Oval Group turnover to £54m, and also takes total Acturis user numbers to over 2000.
