Smart & Cook deploy Acturis across its network

Smart & Cook, the leading independent broker in the North of England & Scotland, is deploying the Acturis Broker Platform across its network of offices. Having had Acturis live in both Leeds and Harrogate for over 12 months, the benefits of Acturis are now being made available more widely across the Group.

Paul Meehan, Managing Director at Smart & Cook, comments, "It was always our intention to fully test the Acturis Broker Platform before expanding its usage, and we are now at a stage where we know it will add significant value to our other offices. Acturis has worked together with us to develop the system in new areas, and the integration with Microsoft Office and the workflow management suite has added a whole new dimension to the system as we move towards the FSA regulated market. Acturis will allow us to manage our network of offices far more effectively in such an environment."

The Smart & Cook office in Lincoln went live in July 2003, followed by Hull in September. Newcastle goes live in November 2003 and Stockton follows in February 2004. Plans are being put in place to have the further offices live in the following months.
