The Position

As a Junior Integration Developer you would be working within the Integration Unit, tasked with:

• Support of webMethods and .NET platforms for integration to local and remote systems using SQL, XML/XSLT, Flow and C#
• Implementation of change requests on existing integrations
• Assisting business analysts with feedback on technical requirements and requests
• Assisting senior developers in implementing new functionality

The core skills that will need to be acquired:

• Coding skills and willingness to learn
• Enthusiasm for integrating systems regardless of message formats, integration processes and toolsets.
• Attention to detail and managing delivery to stringent time scales
• Excellent communication skills with business analysts and other colleagues

You will be given early responsibility for discrete projects and will receive structured, quarterly feedback.

Candidate profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Aptitude for applying technology and structured problem solving
• At least a 2.1 in a technical subject – Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Maths - and good A Levels
• A track record of delivering on projects and an ability to carry tasks through to completion
• An ability to work in teams and learn quickly
• Demonstrated an interest in and experience of using IT
