insurE-com partners with Acturis to deliver extended range of services and products

Leading insurance software providers Acturis and insurE-com (www.insur-e.net) today announce a new partnership that will provide Acturis users with seamless access to insurE-com’s Industry Portal. Integrating both technologies enables Acturis users to receive comparative quotations for Polaris rated personal lines products. Polaris is the insurance industry initiative established to improve the efficiency of transacting business between insurers and brokers.

Acturis specialise in developing leading edge commercial lines insurance software for insurance brokers and its pilot system went live in April 2002.

Today's partnership announcement enables Acturis to take advantage of insurE-com's real time technology. For the first time, brokers using Acturis will have real time access to comparative quotations for personal lines insurance products including motor and household, direct from insurE-com's panel of leading UK insurers.

insurE-com will benefit from the partnership through access to Acturis' client base of growth-orientated brokers that includes four of the UK's top commercial lines broking companies. These brokers are working closely with Acturis in its product development process, with a number of other brokers of a similar pedigree due to follow.
