Acturis is poised to break its 1000-user target before the end of the year, having signed several intermediaries, and with other deals with sizeable brokers said to be imminent.
Acturis is also stepping up its involvement with broker networks. One deal is said to be all but complete with an unnamed network, and the software provider is hopeful that a five-company pilot programme with The Broker Network will help increase its network penetration.
Sales and marketing director Simon Ronaldson would not disclose details of deals with larger brokers, but said that Acturis had several agreements soon to be finalised with intermediaries controlling income in the "high tens of millions of gross written premium".
He added: "With several larger brokers due to go live in the summer and the continued expansion of our network partners, Acturis is set to beat its business plan expectations this year, and the 1000-user mark is now well within our grasp".
Recent deals have been done with JSW Insurance of Stoke-on-Trent and Delta Corporate Risks of Macclesfield, in addition to agreements with TBN members Hine Insurance of Didsbury, Northen Counties of Gateshead, Alastair Mcdonald Ltd of Edinburgh, BNLM of London and
Lamasz Hettle Risk Consulting of Halesowen.
Acturis currently has over 600 live users across 28 sites.
