Bluefin and Acturis have completed a successful 14 month project to add 317 new users and 16 offices onto the Acturis system.
Five new products were created during the process of extending the partnership, which also involved the migration of 69,000 clients and 103,000 policies from four legacy systems.
Tim Brignall, Acturis project manager, said: "This was a complex and demanding project, but both teams have worked well together and the outcome has been a project that has run to both time and budget. We are delighted to welcome these additional users to Acturis, with Bluefin now having nearly 1,000 staff using the Acturis system."
James Elvin, Bluefin project manager, said: "This project had many moving parts; new office builds, bespoke product and document requirements, staff training and finally data migration have all been key. We are very proud of our achievement."
Mike Bruce, Bluefin group managing director, added: "Bluefin is committed to investing in best-of-breed systems for all of its divisions, and investment in our future is paramount. In choosing Acturis across our UK commercial business, we believe that we have achieved this."
