Aviva launch Fast Trade commercial gateway live on Acturis

Aviva has launched its Fast Trade broker extranet for commercial lines business with software house Acturis.

The extranet was developed over the course of four months and initially covers the full SME range of products, such as shop, property owners, office, and tradesman. This allows brokers to log onto Aviva Fast Trade to get quotes, bind business, perform MTAs, as well as obtaining all required documentation at a touch of a button.

John Kennedy, director of business development at Aviva’s UK Insurance business, commented: ‘The extranet was launched on time and on budget, and initial feedback from Account Executives and Brokers alike has been fantastic. It is just the beginning of Aviva taking a lead role in the commercial emarket. The Acturis team worked extremely closely with us on this important project and we have, in combination, developed a great solution with lots more to come. We plan to extend the range of products significantly, and add lots more functionality’.
