CBG moves onto Acturis

CBG Group, the corporate general insurance, risk management and financial services intermediary, has moved its entire back office system onto software platform, Acturis.

According to the Manchester-based company, the switch-over forms part of a drive to streamline its operations and facilitate further growth in 2010. The company has rolled the software out across all departments, including corporate, SME and private client, after a successful pilot in 2009.

Stephen Darcy, executive director of CBG Group, commented: "We were extremely impressed with the impact Acturis had on our SME division during 2009, where efficiency and margins have increased significantly." He continued: "We're confident that the business will continue to go from strength-to-strength in 2010; our move to Acturis is an important step in helping us retain our position as a leading consolidator in the North West."
