Pricey premiums pile on the commercial pressure.
As with the cost of living, the cost of commercial insurance continues to rise. There was a 4% increase in the Acturis Commercial Index when comparing the second quarter of 2022 with the same quarter in 2021. This is driven by all the classes of business in the index with the exception of Fleet, which has continued its resistance to this, with little or negative premium movements.
