About Acturis
Delivering real world innovation to general insurance since 2000
This is
our mission
our vision
our purpose
Back in 2000, our founders and co-CEOs, David McDonald and Theo Duchen, knew that the UK insurance market had to change. It was too cumbersome and too inefficient to respond to the needs of modern business. So, they did something about it and Acturis has been helping to create and shape markets across UK general insurance ever since.
And that, in a nutshell, is why we exist. Our mission isn’t just to connect users. Or simply to connect markets. Or even to create new ones. Our mission is to deliver on all those fronts. To make the transaction of insurance as simple and efficient as possible – regardless of market or class – and create a digital marketplace that works for everyone in it.
Our vision for technology goes beyond the technical. We believe in the concept of technology as strategy and with each new community member, we take another step forward in redefining the role of technology in insurance.
Our community is our track record
They say you’re only as good as your last job. We agree which is why we believe the best way to provide insight into the way we work is to turn to our existing clients.
In fact, our community approach to the Acturis experience means that our users are constantly helping us develop and enhance the Acturis experience. So, take a look at what you can expect when you join the Acturis community.
