Investec Bank plc (“Investec”), a leading international bank and wealth manager, today announces that its Premium Finance business has joined the Acturis platform as part of the next phase of its growth strategy, strengthening broker access to its commercial lines premium finance proposition and making its service-led proposition easier to access.
Since launching in May 2022, Investec Premium Finance (IPF) has accelerated its growth through broker partnerships, with its proposition centred on high level of service, competitive funding, clear risk appetite and dedicated broker support. The Acturis integration enables the company to extend the proposition to more commercial lines brokers through a platform already embedded in many broker workflows.
Following successful broker testing, the integration is now available through Acturis. Brokers using the platform can route premium finance requests to IPF directly from their existing workflow, using data already held within Acturis. This removes the need to key the same information separately into IPF’s Connect portal for qualifying cases, helping to reduce administration.
Investec Premium Finance provides funding for commercial lines insurance premiums arranged by brokers for business clients. These premiums are typically linked to annually renewable and cancellable policies across cover types including professional indemnity, buildings, fire, logistics and cyber. The development forms part of Investec’s wider growth strategy, broadening broker access while preserving the responsive, relationship-led service model that has underpinned the business since launch.
Investec Premium Finance has grown by focusing on service, responsiveness and a clear understanding of what brokers need from a funding partner. Joining Acturis is an important enabler of the next phase of growth, because it makes us easier to access through a workflow many brokers already use, while preserving the human interaction and dedicated support that underpin the proposition. This is central to Investec’s ambition to become the lender of choice in the UK for commercial lines premium finance.
Osian Rees, Head of Premium Finance at Investec
We are delighted to welcome Investec Premium Finance to the Acturis platform. This partnership gives commercial lines brokers greater choice in how they arrange premium finance, while enabling them to work directly from information already held within Acturis. By reducing rekeying and streamlining processes, the integration supports more efficient digital trading and enhances the broker experience.
James Aston, Head of Roadmap & Partnerships at Acturis
Our relationship with Investec Premium Finance has always been built on responsive service and making it easy to do business. The addition of Acturis is a natural next step, giving us a more streamlined way to transact while retaining the personal support and expertise that we value. It should make an already smooth process even more efficient for our teams and our clients.
