This category aimed at finding world-class, independent UK companies with a turnover of up to £50M. Acturis was selected the winner after showing strong growth and use of innovative technology to enable a more effective definition of risk and greater end to end efficiency in the insurance sector.
The Growing Business Awards is supported by the CBI and Lloyds Bank and aims to recognize the achievements of high-growth, mid-sized and entrepreneurial businesses in the UK. Over the past 15 years the awards have celebrated and been the launchpad for many of Britain’s finest innovative SME companies who have previously won the award including Innocent Smoothies and Phones4U.
The judges praised Acturis as “outstanding on every level”, saying that the business excelled in every dimension they were looking for in great growing businesses.
Acturis Co-CEO, David McDonald said: “I am extremely proud to accept this award on behalf of our entire team. It is testament to the strength and depth of the talent that we have at Acturis. We have succeeded by recruiting and developing great people and creating a business that allows us to do great things for our clients. As we embark on our next growth stage and international expansion, this type of recognition underlines the fact that we have a solid strategy and are on the right track.”
This further accolade comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the business had been named earlier this month as one of the first 25 high growth companies to be invited on to the Government’s Future Fifty programme.
