Acturis expands Management Liability Package panel with Plus Risk FLEX product

Acturis, the leading SaaS platform for brokers, MGAs and insurers is delighted to announce the addition of a new MGA, Plus Risk.

Acturis offers a powerful proposition to MGAs who are looking for broad distribution to the increasing Acturis broker base. With Plus Risk Acturis has worked to develop an etrade Management Liability Package product and make this available on a comparative basis with the existing panel of 7 products.

Plus Risk, the management liability focussed MGA, have launched their Management Liability FLEX etrade product to Acturis Brokers.

The new product offers up to £10,000,000 D&O limit alongside Crime, Corporate Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Pension Trustee Liability coverages on a modular policy basis.

Plus Risk utilise Acturis’ A2A referral handling functionality to offer brokers a smoother journey when dealing with more complex risks. The product is the newest addition to the growing open market Management Liability Package which has seen over 20% year on year policy growth for the last two years.

Thomas Stuart, Insurance Development Director at Acturis, said, “Bringing a new MGA to the market with an etrade product, while providing Plus Risk with an efficient back office, is a testament to Acturis as an underwriting platform. Coupling this with distribution to the Acturis broker base makes Acturis a powerful proposition to MGAs.”

James Rasmussen, MD of Plus Risk, said, “We are delighted to be able to offer our products on the Acturis platform. Our aim was to create a unique product in the marketplace, a modular plain language policy wording that caters for businesses in today’s complex world. We recognise the importance of this coverage and feel that our product achieves the right balance between coverage and practicability. We look forward to trading with our existing broker partners on the platform and are excited to grow our distribution further by gaining access to Acturis’ substantial broker base.”

Freddie Thompson, Acturis, added, “With the addition of Plus Risk, our panel extends and gives Acturis brokers more options when placing Management Liability business through our platform. An MGA etrading on the open market panel is a compelling change to how speciality lines risks have previously been placed.”
