Acturis is excited to announce that Watkin Davies has partnered with the award-winning insurance software provider to upgrade the digital core of its business and accelerate growth.
The Wales-based broker, with hubs across three locations, has successfully migrated its commercial business to Acturis, following a seamless remote implementation during the coronavirus lockdown. The company has chosen Acturis as their digital partner to benefit from the advanced back office processes and unparalleled access to markets, especially via e-trade.
The broker also aims to boost customer focus by leveraging Acturis Mobile —the mobile app that facilitates remote access to the system, thus allowing for quick responses to customer requests— and the self-service document portal.
Gina Dixon, Managing Director at Watkin Davies, said:
Moving software house can be a major change for any business. Despite our initial concerns that the transfer of our systems across to Acturis might be fraught with unforeseen problems, between us we have proven these to be completely unfounded. We have been very impressed at the way the whole process was accomplished, with very little disruption to our day to day activities, especially when one factors in the added complication that, because of COVID-19, all our staff were working from home during the transfer period. We have proven we can adapt to the new normal and we are already seeing the benefits to the business offered by the “Acturis way”.
Jeff McCracken, Sales and Marketing Director at Acturis, said:
The COVID-19 pandemic has seen brokers evaluating their digital strategies and seeking greater resilience and agility. Innovative companies have seen the value of investing in advanced technology to gain an advantage. We are delighted that Watkin Davies is one of these companies with a digital, forward-looking mind-set. Our collaboration has been excellent and we look forward to future developments with Gina and the team at Watkin Davies.
