Acturis launches tablet mode to extend mobile working capabilities

Acturis, the leading insurance technology provider, announces the release of its tablet optimised app, available for iOS and Android devices, designed to improve the user experience by taking advantage of native tablet capabilities.

Following the launch of Acturis Mobile –the free native mobile app for brokers– in 2019 and the increased reliance on mobile working during the global pandemic, Acturis has now expanded the capabilities of Acturis Mobile to support tablet devices.

Using Acturis Mobile on a tablet further helps brokers excel at the remote working game, being able to easily access their broker management system from their tablet –in addition to their mobile phone or desktop application–, which means they can work when and where it suits them.

The real-time integration with the core Acturis SaaS platform enables users to access live information on their tablet and to upload information from the tablet directly into the Acturis platform.

With tablet mode users are able to:

  • Navigate quickly and easily across different screens
  • Get a comprehensive view of their customers with more information on screen
  • View, edit and create customer information
  • Send SMS through Acturis (without requirement for a SIM card)

The mobile functionality comes free of charge with the Acturis broker management platform.

Tony Goddard, Development Director at Acturis, commented:

“Acturis is constantly seeking ways to work with our partners to use technology innovatively to meet business needs. There has been a growing need in the market to be more agile in the ability to work in any location, which is only being further accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are therefore delighted to expand on our popular mobile application, with a new optimised tablet solution.”

The new Acturis tablet mode helps us to fulfil our clients’ expectations when reviewing risk information with them. We can bring our data to our clients’ place of business reducing the number of subsequent queries that naturally arise from face-to-face meetings. And having access to client data 24/7, both in tablet and mobile phone, means that our teams can collaborate effectively and are best prepared to meet our clients’ needs.
