Acturis adds CFC to panel of insurers with cyber product

Acturis, the leading technology provider to the general insurance industry, has partnered with specialist insurance provider CFC to expand the e-trade capabilities of the Acturis platform with the launch of the CFC Cyber NOW product.

This is the first CFC product to be made available via Acturis.

Acturis brokers can now access Cyber NOW directly via their broker management system to quote and bind risks easily within a matter of minutes.

The product includes the same broad coverage provided under the CFC’s full Cyber Private Enterprise wording. This includes affirmative cybercrime cover including social engineering, theft of personal funds, cyber extortion, cryptojacking and more.

CFC Cyber NOW also delivers the most compelling first-party cyber cover in the market, including business interruption that is triggered by not only malicious cyber events but also IT system failure extending to the insured’s full supply chain.

“We firmly believe that the future of cyber insurance depends on us going beyond coverage alone, by giving customers access to in-house cyber claims expertise and tailored risk management services,” said Lindsey Nelson, Cyber Development Leader at CFC.

Making Cyber NOW available through the Acturis platform allows us to partner with more brokers and help them to source the cyber protection and support their clients need more than ever.

Acturis broker partners will also be able to access CFC’s Connect cyber trading platform. This tool delivers bespoke supporting sales packs containing industry-specific claims resources and educational materials to help each individual client better understand the benefits of Cyber NOW.

Nelson concludes: “We’re using our twenty plus years of cyber claims data and combining that with our proprietary data enrichment engine to empower brokers and help them sell cyber more efficiently to their clients.”

Kristina Hanna, Technical Business Analyst at Acturis said: “Introducing CFC’s product to Acturis will give our customers more choice in e-trade cyber cover, driving the growth of our Cyber NOW panel even further. Our innovative technical solution has allowed a quick successful implementation to bring this product to Acturis brokers.”

We are thrilled to partner with a market-leading specialist insurer such as CFC to bring their strong blend of insurance and risk management in the cyber sector to Acturis brokers.
