Acturis is excited to announce that Tasker Insurance Group has chosen the insurance software provider as a digital partner to seize the power of its cloud-based platform and bring long-term value and resilience to the firm.
The group, with hubs in six locations across the UK and Ireland, successfully migrated its retail broking business to Acturis in early September, following an impressive three-month implementation during the coronavirus lockdown.
The company has noted efficiencies from day one thanks to Acturis’ unrivalled insurer product availability, seamlessly integrated documents and remote access to the core system through Acturis Mobile.
But this is only the start. Transition of part of Tasker’s product distribution for the underwriting business to Acturis is also among the short-term plans, expected to happen later this year.
At the same time, the group is already working with Acturis to build an integrated client service portal, which will give clients the control they want and unshackle staff from administrative tasks.
At a time when there was a risk that strategic initiatives would slow down, we recognised the opportunity to build the platform we’ve always wanted to and prepare the business for the future. This project gave our people a really good focus and kept them motivated while everyone was at home.

Exemplary collaboration and resilience
During a three-month period, both teams worked exceptionally hard towards a well-defined goal, pouring a tremendous amount of effort into ensuring every step of the process was clearly marked and followed — without a single face-to-face meeting.
And when everything was ready to launch, Acturis ensured that the Tasker staff could work successfully from day one with structured and effective remote support and training.
Jeff McCracken, Sales & Marketing Director at Acturis, commented on this new partnership:
“We are delighted to work with Tasker in transforming their business and building on this foundation going forwards. Having worked with Rob Organ (CEO) and Graeme, we are delighted to be part of their exciting plans for the future.
The successful completion of this project through lockdown is proof that we can work in an agile manner no matter the circumstances. The “new normal” is calling for adaptability and resilience, and both businesses have proved to have exactly that.”
The teams from both Tasker and Acturis came together and delivered enormous change in exceptional circumstances, proving remarkable resilience. We have again been impressed with the Acturis team and look forward to working on future projects with them.
