The Insurance Partnership goes live on Acturis

The Insurance Partnership is now live on the Acturis system. All four offices – Hull, York, Leeds and Wolverhampton – went live on the same day as part of one single “day one” go live exercise.

This project involved the training of 139 members of The Insurance Partnership team across all four offices, and also included a data migration from the legacy system, TAM.

All business will now be transacted using the Acturis system including personal lines, SME and corporate books of business. Onsite Aviva underwriters will also use the Acturis system to handle referrals on SME business that cannot be electronically traded without underwriter sign-off.

Richard Tuplin, Director of The Insurance Partnership, comments, “We at The Insurance Partnership like to be at the forefront of service delivery and innovation, and by working with Acturis we are looking to achieve significant service benefits, both with our interaction with our partner insurers, and also with our clients. Any change initiative has its challenges, but we are confident in both our internal capabilities and also in the capability of the Acturis system and team, to deliver the results we set out to achieve.”

Theo Duchen, co-CEO of Acturis, adds, “The Insurance Partnership is a highly regarded, professional independent broker, and we are delighted to welcome them into the Acturis fold. The project has been one of the most demanding that we have been involved in, and we very much look forward to working with The Insurance Partnership to ensure that they get the maximum possible benefit from using the Acturis system. Go-live is the start of the project, not the conclusion, and the real work starts now.”
